Oh The Places You'll Dream

I had a dream the night before I went to Disneyland. I was sleeping in Lindsay's roommate's room and I saw she had "What Color is Your Parachute?" This is necessary information to understand where the following dream came from: In the dream, Kelli was complaining about Aaron Brynildson, saying he was being a jerk and that he wouldn't let her parachute be the color she wanted.

Last night, I dreamt that my brother told me he had decided to be a firefighter.

Les Rêves

I had a dream in French. I don't think there was an actual story, I was just talking to some people in French.

In another dream, I was attending Howie's wedding but he never showed up. His brother was there trying to entertain the guests while we waited.

Some Vague Dreaminess

1. Robert was chasing me or something. This one wasn't particularly scary, though.

2. I was interacting with Joy from My Name is Earl and she had a baby girl named Joyann.

Magically Delicious Dreams

1. I was at Hogwarts eating lunch with the Weasleys. We were eating what I can only assume are magical meal replacement lollipops. The long swirly ones. Also, it wasn't in the Great Hall but in a smaller room made by several curtains. We were also riding our brooms. Ginny informs me that for lunch, the eat with their own family thus there are several curtains partitioning multiple rooms. We pull back the one next to us and there is Hermione and Harry eating together. They look slightly guilty, but Hermione explains defiantly that otherwise, she and Harry would have to eat alone as they have no other family at Hogwarts!

2. I awoke, and began to walk downstairs. On each step were two markers, the same color but different brand/style/size. I arrive in the dining room, surprised to find the family friends that just left our house on their way to Australia. Their parents tell me that their two daughters missed us so much that on their way back home to Texas, the girls wanted to stay with us another week. How a month in Australia became 2 days (which, may I remind you, is not enough time to fly there and back. Must've been a Narnia type thing.) I don't know. My mom was making pancakes like she did the morning the departed and I thought, "Wow, they must really like pancakes."

Is this just a dream or really happening?

I met his guy named Skyler (I couldn't decide which spelling of that name was the least effeminate. I think it's actually Schuyler but I distinctly remember a K in the dream so I went with an E instead of an A.) in a pubbish place. He looked exactly like John Krasinski except with a slight reddish tint to his hair. He was a twin (I know! That means there are two of them!) And he had two sets of twins for brothers, one older and one younger. But all redheads. My mom met him too and I think liked him. We decided to start dating and we were about to change the relationship status on facebook.

This One's About a Dream I Had Last Night (Matt, Matt and Myself)

I was in a restaurant with my Mom and I saw Matt Hoopes. I went up to him and started talking. The conversation lasted a while, but now I can't remember the specifics. He was very talkative, which I can't imagine Hoopes being in real life. Then I asked who he was there with, and he said the other guys in the band so I asked if I could meet them too. He said yes, although somewhat begrudgingly. As we walked towards his table, I saw Matt Thiessen get up and walk away so I called out to him "Matt Hoopes!" which is, of course, the wrong name. Something I do tend to do, but Matt Thiessen took offense. I tried to explain that I did know which Matt was which, I just misspoke but he and the other members of the band (Dave though, not Ethan) were dubious. Eventually they gave up and decided to be nice and talk to me.

Nothing Gold Can Stay (Even Dreams)

I was driving at night, trying to make a left turn into a parking lot (like that of the Stoneridge mall) it had several sequential entrances & exits but nobody would let me in so I had to go all the way to the end, which was far away from where I wanted to go. Which turned out to be work, which was now attached to a hospital and not a health club. But where I was was basically a tenement, slummy apartment building. So I parked and cautiously got out of my car. There were homeless looking people lurking in the background. I instantly ran into the assistant childcare manager Charnice ( not assistant to the childcare manager) who told me Brittany (co-worker) was in the hospital and we were all going to see her, which we did. I'm not sure what was supposed to be wrong with her.

Then I had to go to class where I met up with Meredith, another co-worker who was also my roommate in the dream. (She's like my old roommate Aly, only kind of annoying.) The classroom was set up like a large bedroom. M and I and a few others sat on this bed with a cobalt blue cover that happened to be laminated. Anthony was also in the class, as well as another Cal High person that I feel ambivalently about. (I think it was Sarah Meltzer.) Even so, this was college and not high school. The prof was Lafaver-esque and told us all we had to do was visit people in the hospital to get credit. But a bunch of kids complained that they wanted actual work to do and I was peeved. (Although, in my awakeness I realize that I would be the one doing that.) So the prof said we could go in groups of three. Naturally, I wanted to be in a group with Anthony but M grabbed me. More people started complaining so I couldn't get Anthony's attention to ask him to join our group. Then Sarah came over and asked to join our group but I wanted to work with A so I had to brush her off without hurting her feelings. Then we had to write something, but the prof was worried we would tear the laminant bed sheet. When we showed her we hadn't, she let us leave. When I caught up with A, he was on a treadmill. He enthusiastically agreed to be in my group. Then I told him about my co-worker in the hospital and we were both excited because it would be easy. Now that I think about it, that's pretty awful. I was wearing gray Chucks with purple laces which enabled me to transport, but only a few feet away. So I amazed him by transporting out the door, ostensibly on my to go my next class. But just outside the room, I forgot what class I was supposed to go to. Then I had to sneak past the door (because I didn't want him to know I guess) to go back to my room and look at my schedule. When I got there, I couldn't read it. Although it was long block of red T/W/Th, so it must have been important. ( I use Excel for my schedule.) I was probably already late anyway, so I gave up. M was there stretching and practicing some sort of swimming stroke, the butterfly I think. She had a large cylinder tube or something with gold stickers on it. I picked it up and the first one had three waves on it. I peeled it off and asked if this was her password. (No, I don't get it either.) She said yes. Then I asked if I could have the sticker and she said no. I tried to put it back on but the other stickers (all Disney related) kept falling off too. I tried to put them back in their original positions so she wouldn't know but they would not stick. I also noticed a necklace: one of those plastic ones for little girls with Ariel on it. At the time it made sense because she was a swimmer but in actuality M is a dancer. I quickly put the cannister down with the stickers and did that slow tip toe sneaky run to get out. She picked up the cannister and howled (although not literally) about how the sitckers wouldn't stick, even though they were brand new. The way she said it made me think she'd had this trouble before so I felt slightly relieved of my guilt. I went back to the hospital, sans group members, to visit Brittany who was complaining and yelling, insisting she shouldn't be there because there wasn't anything wrong with her.

The last half of the dream I had the overwhelming sensation of being sleepy. That feeling that your eyelids weigh about 100 pounds each and you are desperately trying to get them open. Your body wants to sleep but your brain says stay awake and you feel sort of trapped like those partial anesthetic stories. Or at least I have that sensation. Maybe it was the opposite reason. Trying to stay asleep when my brain says to wake up.

This Dream is so epic, no wonder it came out during summer

I'm pretty sure there was more to the beginning of this story but I'll just start from what I remember. I go to Cal High, which is now on a lake, with my fiancé and his two younger brothers (all I know is their last name was Blakely). We are going on a leisurely boat cruise. I went into the locker room to change into my bathing suit, etc... but Potts and Sloan were both in there. They eventually realized that they shouldn't be changing in front of former students, much less in the girls' locker room. I got on the boat and accidentally left fiancé at the dock. It was not malicious and possibly unintentional. He may have had something to do on land. The two youngest Blakelys and I got involved in a high speed water chase. I escaped from our boat to another smaller boat hidden in some trees on the edge of the lake. Then I turned into Will Turner and was fighting with Capt Jack over who was actually captain of the boat. Eventually, I got back to "Cal High" and the locker rooms and decided to change back. Potts and Sloan were there again but this time they started to disrobe.

Now it was time for the football game. It was really more of a scrimmage, not against De La Salle, but against another equally snooty although less talented private school. We won, but in the interest of time, they didn't call all of the players' names. Due to my exhuastion from the earlier events, I became upset that they didn't call my brother's name and number. There was, however, a girl on the team. We sat near her father so we couldn't criticize the fact that there was a girl on the team. My mom was just glad she didn't have to hear all the names. But since I was moving to Florida, it would be my last chance. As we left the game, we noticed they were moving traffic to the right except our car was beckoned to the left. The left lane began a 45 degree climb. Then it became cobblestone. We passed many people dressed as medieval courtiers. Finally we were summoned into court to be presented to the queen. My fiancé's mom had "taken me to court" because I had broken off our engagement. Upon entering the receiving room, the Queen (who evidently had a wacky sense of humor) pulled the old "Close, Closer, Too Close!" bit. She gave me the royal reprieve from marrying eldest Blakely, much to his mother's chagrin. As the dream ends, my mom is telling Cindy what has happened and I am eating something caramely. Also, Trevor Blakely, the middle brother and I, may end up as more than just friends. The older Blakely and Trevor sort of have a Cyclops v. Wolverine thing where the former is more stable and the latter more exciting. Although it seems the older brother became slightly unhinged when I tried to break it off with him.

This dream has about as much plot as a Rocky movie

I don't know how, or if, any of these things are related but I remember all of them being in my dreams last night:
Dave Douglas
Julia
Safety pins
Neon name tags
Church
Spiderman powers

You figure it out, A-dri-aaaaaaaanne.
