Less-Than-a-Dream Family

I dreamt that on Malcolm in the Middle, Hal was the boys step-dad. I wondered why they didn't throw the "you're not really my dad!" thing in his face more often. It wasn't until I watched it on tv this morning that I realized that was a dream.
